Mission: The St Paul’s JB Wellness Warriors Committee is dedicated to promoting a positive environment that supports the overall health and wellness of students, families, and staff through education and various school activities and events.
Candy Callback: Collection of leftover Halloween candy that is then donated to the USO that sends the candy to our troops overseas, volunteers assist in the collection and sorting of candy.
Morning Mile Program: Morning walk/run program that invites students (and parents to join with students) for 30 minutes before school starts to walk/jog the field. Volunteers help sign kids in, count laps with popsicle sticks, help with dismissal/sign out of kids. Sign up here.
Kindness Committee Events: Events geared towards promoting kindness and helping others. Volunteers help with fundraisers and special events throughout the year.
Wellness Week/Health Fair: A week in the spring dedicated to fitness, healthy eating, mental health, and other healthy activities for the students. Volunteers will assist in these events and help coordinate the week. Health fair: last year we hosted our first health fair with local businesses in the area during our wellness week. The committee helped in the organization and setting up of the event.
Quarterly Newsletter: A newsletter is sent out each quarter highlighting the Wellness Committee events, healthy recipes, physical and mental health activities and resources. Volunteers help with researching and collecting content for the newsletter.
