ALL Volunteer Requirements: To volunteer at any St. Paul’s event and receive the volunteer rate, the volunteer must have both diocesan requirements completed. NO exceptions. Mrs. Thomas will notify you if your prints are expiring this year.

Families must perform at least 24 hours of volunteer service according to the guidelines listed below to receive the published tuition rates. An additional non-service fee, $1500.00, will be charged to families choosing not to volunteer. This support program is vital to the success of our school and is an invaluable service to our parish and school. Each family is responsible for recording their volunteer hours online via FACTS parent portal and hours are due May 30th. Teachers and office staff do not keep track of volunteer hours. School records will not be released until volunteer hours have been submitted and verified.
Each family must serve eight (8) hours at the school carnival in the spring (during the hours the Carnival is open to the Public). Volunteers must be 18 years or older to work Carnival (children are not allowed to work any shift). Realizing many hours are required to set up, tear down and prepare for the carnival; hours earned in these categories will not count towards carnival hours without the approval of the Carnival Chairperson. Hours over and above 9 may be counted as other volunteer hours.
Each family must contribute a minimum of Eight (8) hours to a PTA sanctioned event and may be completed over several events. Two (2) of these PTA hours must be served in preparation for or during the Oyster Roast event. PTA events include: Oyster Roast and Auction, Christmas Celebration, Catholic Schools Week festivities, Art Fest and Teacher Appreciation Week.
8 hours for carnival, 8 hours for PTA with at least 2 hours for Oyster Roast, and 2 hours for graduation (7th grade families only). Families not meeting ALL mandatory hours will be charged the $1500.00 non-service fee. The remainder of service hours may be met with additional carnival or PTA hours above the mandatory requirement or in any of these areas: Cafeteria Volunteer, Track/Cross Country Coach, Crossing Guard, Classroom Reader, Drama events, Classroom Volunteer, Dad’s Club, Graduation, Homeroom Mom/Dad, Wellness Week, Used Uniform Sale, Concession Stand, etc.
Various Fundraisers-Jingle Jog, Derby and Drives, etc. Parish Opportunities (Five hour maximum): Vacation Bible School, Catechist, etc.
